Demurrage: December 18, 2025

Channel Prime Alliance has revised our demurrage policy for railcars shipped directly to customers’ locations as well as railcars held by Channel Prime Alliance for bulk truck release.

For railcars shipped to the customer location:

• Customers will receive 60 days from constructive placement to store the railcar at no charge from Channel Prime Alliance.
• Note that railcar storage fees from the customer’s assigned railyard is a separate charge, and the responsibility of the customer.
• Railcars held beyond 60 days will incur a $50 per day charge beginning with day 61.
• Invoices for demurrage will be issued on a weekly basis until the railcar is confirmed as released back to the railroad.
• An additional fee of $10,000 will be issued if the car is not released prior to 120 days from constructive placement.

For railcars held by Channel Prime Alliance for bulk truck release to the customer:

• The demurrage “start date” will be communicated by Channel Prime Alliance to the customer at time of order placement.
• Customers will incur a charge of $50 per day on the designated, communicated date. Invoices for demurrage will be issued weekly until the last bulk truck is shipped.
• An additional fee of $10,000 will be issued if the car is not released prior to 120 days from constructive placement

United States Logistics Surcharge: Effective April 10, 2026

Effective for shipments on or after April 10, 2026, the $100 freight surcharge per shipment will remain unchanged. The fuel surcharge will be adjusted to better reflect current diesel fuel costs and market conditions.

This approach allows us to remain transparent and responsive as market conditions change while continuing to provide reliable transportation service. We appreciate your continued partnership.

Canada Logistics Surcharge: Effective April 10, 2026

Effective for shipments on or after April 10, 2026, a freight surcharge of $250 per shipment will be implemented. This adjustment reflects sustained increases in transportation and logistics costs across the Canadian market.

This adjustment enables us to maintain reliable transportation services and adapt to evolving market conditions. We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership.
