Advanced Composites
Advanced Composites recent sustainable material developments focus on the incorporation of mechanically recycled post-consumer content. Ranging from PCR, to bio-based products, Advanced Composites offers a wide range of products developed with unique sustainability development goals in mind.
Blue Polymers
The new joint venture between Republic Services and Ravago provides customers with a reliable partner to offer drop-in certified PCR solutions tailored to achieve sustainability objectives. Blue Polymers' post-consumer recycled resins can be used in a variety of applications - including food packaging, personal and homecare packaging, and industrial containers.
Braskem
Braskem's I'm green™ bio-based and WENEW sustainable portfolio offers products made from mechanical recycling, chemical recycling, low-carbon renewables and renewable bio-ethanol resources. These solutions help tackle climate change and plastic waste reduction initiative and assist in meeting several sustainability goals from manufacturers and their customers.
Celanese
Celanese ETP products provide a wide variety of sustainable solutions such as recycled content ECO-R, bio-circular, mass balance ECO-B, bio-based content, carbon capture ECO-CC, reduced carbon footprint and end-of-life components. This selection enables customers to reduce the environmental impact of their finished products, contributing towards a more sustainable and circular future.
Delrin
Delrin® Renewable Attributed POM is produced from 100% bio-feedstock from waste according to ISCC Plus mass balanced certification. This product offers the same quality and performance features while providing less waste in part replacement, making it suitable to assist in meeting sustainability goals and initiatives.
Envalior
Envalior's extensive portfolio showcases a wide range of sustainable materials, including bio-based and recycled grades to provide eco-conscious solutions that redefine sustainability. With a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions, Envalior supports a wide range of applications with their unique engineered polymers.
Lotte Chemical
Lotte Chemical incorporates multiple process techniques to provide customers with recycle content over a full range of materials. Through carbon capture, we produce Infino™ Polycarbonate resins that contains 18% certified recovered CO2 content. Our Starex™ ABS resins are available with various PCR contents between 10% and 100% through mechanical and chemical recycling processes. Lotte PP resins can be supplied with PCR and/or pyrolysis recycle content to suit end user requirements. By 2030, we will convert all of our traditional PET polymerization to chemical recycled PET. All of the above resins can be used in various markets including mobility, home appliance, consumer electronics, durables, packaging and also for use in compounding. Our commitment is for net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Westlake Global Compounds
At Westlake, we prioritize being a good corporate citizen and providing innovative solutions that enhance life every day. In 2022, Westlake Global Compounds combined with our sister polyethylene and building products businesses produced approximately 400 million pounds of total recycled final products from in-house generated process regrind, post-industrial recycled material, or post-consumer recycled material in the product formulas.
