What is Vistamaxx™ & POE Plastics

Vistamaxx™ is a performance polymer from ExxonMobil that belongs to the polyolefin elastomer (POE) family. POE plastics are flexible, rubber-like materials commonly used to improve the toughness, flexibility, softness, sealability, and impact resistance of plastics such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). They are widely used in packaging, automotive components, medical products, nonwovens, roofing membranes, and consumer goods where a combination of durability, elasticity, and processability is required. Vistamaxx™ is particularly valued for its compatibility with polyolefin resins, making it an effective modifier for creating softer, tougher, and more flexible plastic products
